And learn more about Ubuntu Edge

Mobile Monday Silicon Valley is hosting a meetup in San Francisco on August 12th at 6pm. The session will be “Challenges in Innovating Mobile Devices and Wearables”, and is sponsored by Canonical.

The development cycle for robust operating systems and hardware is not just a simple two-week cycle for updates. Mobile Monday will ask the experts to share the challenges they face when innovating in a competitive, high-stakes industry.

The panel will be led by Victor Brilon, a product-focused entrepreneur with experiences in the telco and consumer electronics industries. Canonical’s community manager Jono Bacon will join the panelists, alongside experts from ZTE, BlackBerry, BASIS Science and a mobile operator (tbc).

Visitors will get the chance to network with Canonical experts, hear more about the Ubuntu Edge campaign, and see Ubuntu running live on mobiles.

And needless to say, keep supporting the Ubuntu Edge campaign.
